The "Bale" combines in it two worlds. One is the modern worldthat integrates the industrial manufacturing and the consuming habits of the modern human culture. The other, is the world that is going back to nature, tradition and craft. The integration of these worlds as they are expressed in the "Bale", represent where we stand today, in a world that has covered itself in plastic, but it slowly wakes up and remembers its roots.
Materials: polyethylene, hay.
Manufacture: corporation molding.

A series of pieces of furniture that explore the possibility of creating private places within household furniture.
Just as a cat seeks out hiding places or small spaces to slip into, I wanted to create furniture that can encompass all or parts of the human body. I searched for hiding places within the house, observing children playing "hide and seek" and looking at illustrations in children's books. I examined dark and private places that can contain the human body (for example: under the bed, behind a curtain, under a hat). I created a set of objects: one, a human-scale object that can be used for lying down, for storage of sheets and blankets, or for creating a private space within the house. The next, a set of wooden boxes, can be used as seats, but also conceal books, clothes, or just one's head. Finally, there is a chair, where in the technique of wrapping elastic bands creates tunnels, a perspective space, and peek holes. Thus, the user can choose his personal way of using the chair: he can sit on the elastic bands, but also invent new and personal ways of using them, such as entering into the chair or inverting it, and thus examine his relationship with his environment and shape it to his choice. Both of these objects are created using a technology involving bending metal tubes and wood etching. Elastic bands are then wrapped around these materials and closed with velcro.

This project started by examining other possibilities in objects' packaging, as currently, the only function of packaging is to protect the product in transit.
In this project, the packaging is used as the mold of the object; it defines and influences its form and surface, and it is being integrated into the object itself. The act of opening the mold is transferred from the manufacturer to the costumer, who is given the preliminary experience of revealing the object.

KORA- LED ambient lamps
KORA I is based on the form of a wooden beam. Its top surface diffuses light. The lightened area is surrounded by a painted - bent brass strip which reflects the light and also performs as a handle. “KORA I” has three configurations.
KORA T follows the form of a wooden beam. Its top surface - is replaced with an Acrylic plate which diffuses the light. The wooden beam is connected to a - painted brass construction, with a hinge that allow a variety of lighting angels.
KORA Z follows the form of a wooden beam. Its top surface is replaced with an Acryl plate which diffuses light. The wooden beam is held by a painted brass construction, based on a concrete block. The concrete bottom is divided into two slops which allow the lamp to stand in two different positions.

For the Make a Forest project, the initial idea of mine is to plant a tree in the center of Dronten. To keep it simple, I tried to plant a tree and made this video. Actually, everyone feel it is a stupid idea.
For make this video, I went outside to find a tree, it was a dead branch from a big tree, without any leaves. I picked many real leaves on the ground, and painted them with the spry paint color, tied these leaves on that branch. It became an artificial tree. Then I planted it in a forest, just like a real tree, but with colorful artificial leaves. This inspired me a lot for the next step of this project.
Sometimes the idea looks stupid, but do not give, just do it, when you do it, maybe you will find something interesting or inspired.
Stupid is as stupid does.

One of the most scaring and exciting things for the creative person, is standing in front of a blank white page.
The A4 page is the start of every creation. On this page the first ideas are written, and the first sketches are being scribbled, however in the process of creating, a great amount of pages are being wrinkled and thrown away.
The A4 light fixture symbolizes all of those pages that are full of new ideas and have been discarded. It is rich in small sparks of new ideas that are just waiting to become the next creation.

This is a one-minute film. In one early morning, when I open the door I saw a bird lying at the corner of my balcony. As soon as I went out, she saw me as well, and flied away quickly. It gave me a big surprise. Two tiny white eggs in the middle of her nest. She got babies.
I quickly set up a camera in front of her nest, and went away. Five minutes later, I went back; watched the video in this camera. It was so amazing, a few seconds after I left, she came back and lay on her nest again; he did not give up her kids. That’s what I got from the video captured by that camera. A very simple one minute, but so sweetheart.

In my final project I try to establish my social-cultural identity by researching the Ashkenazi culture in Israel.
Although the Ashkenazi culture in Israel seems to be a social-cultural hegemony, it has actually relinquished the cultural characteristic that defined it in the past. I search for my connection, an Israeli woman today, and my forefather's Ashkenazi-Jewish cultural tradition, even though it is difficult to define.
In my familiar Ashkenazi home environment, scattered fragments of language, memories and places keep emerging and refuse to disappear. Although I was raised and grew up here, I also feel close to the crochet, crystals, manners and the dialogue that are associated with the Ashkenazi-European culture. The tension between "here" and "there" is constant. This jewelry collection ranges between the foreign and familiar, between concealed and revealed, between what was said and what can not be said, between appearance and the things themselves - all displayed in an inseparable blend.
